Welcome to New Brunswick Roadsides

For many years I have been enchanted with the flowers of spring and summer along the highways and back roads of New Brunswick, Canada.

We are "The Picture Province" and often a simple Sunday drive will provide ample opportunities for memorable pictures. Often overlooked, are those pictures that are found in the ditches and highway medians where natural wild plants (sometimes assisted by the 'highway mix' roadbuilders use to secure the banks) put on a marvelous display that changes with the advancing season.

The view beyond the roadside is sometimes framed by these blooms.

It is my hope to illustrate here, some of the scenes that might be missed in the tour guides. For those of us who live here, this is "our own backyard."
